After last nights camp in a fairy glen on the Isle of Skye, today was all about travelling back to the mainland and onto Loch Ness.
Had to stop at Eilean Donan Castle. It’s quite possibly one of the most famous castles in Scotland because of all the boxes of shortbread and postcards it’s featured on. And it didn’t disappoint. Absolutely stunning location.
Managed to make it to Loch Ness and even stopped at Urquhart castle to see if I could spot Nessie. No luck so far, but I’ve parked up for the night overlooking the Loch so fingers crossed!
