Back to business in the Van
Time to investigate the nearest county to home, Norfolk. Often associated with the 'older generation', I absolutely love this place and think its totally underrated. Amazing beaches, great walks, boating and forests, there's nothing missing here (except maybe a mountain or two, but I've been spoiled for them recently so don't mind the flat landscape). This walk was published in the UK's top 100 walks and I can see why. Walking through muddy cow pastures between windmills including the UK's tallest, this walk took in the Broads at their best. And who'd have thought that the best photo I'd get of a Highland cow would've been in Norfolk, not Scotland?
