Woke up this morning at dawn to see a Giant Stag just a few yards away, majestically looking over our camp before strolling off into the misty darkness. Absolutely awesome! Decided to do a 20km hike around the hills this morning in the pouring rain........ I couldn't resist the beauty, but it has taken me 3 hours so far to dry off and warm up and that was with multiple waterproof layers on. Come on Scotland, make the rain go away. Managed to scoff a yummy brownie and large pot of tea to help me reheat. Fantastic day overall - even with the rain.
